Character Builders beat off fierce competition to win the Small Renovation category at the Master Builder of the Year competition. Held on Friday March 11th the ceremony saw Phil Spencer from Channel 4's 'Location, Location' awarding the prizes. Character Builders topped competition from across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Come and see us on our stand this year. Traditional building methods demonstrated whilst you try one of our free (donations to Devon Air Ambulance) infamous 'Character cream teas'.
Chagford Show 2009 Thursday 20th August
At our annual stand at the Chagford Show we raised £350 for the Devon Air Ambulance through donations for our cream teas. We doubled this so the Devon Air Ambulance was gifted with £700. Many thanks to all the family and friends involved in what was a very busy day!!!
